Allan Hancock College Community Education is offering a three-week General Education Development (GED) preparation class during the winter 2017 term. The “Preparing for the GED Tests” class is designed to help students gain the skills to successfully pass each area of the computerized GED tests. Students receive instruction in reading, writing, social studies, science, mathematics and test-taking skills. Students also have an opportunity to practice test items.

The class meets Monday-Thursday, Jan. 3-19, from 6-9:55 p.m. at Community Education, Room S-101, on the Santa Maria campus. The class is free.

Registration for winter 2017 term classes begins Dec. 5, 2016, the same as spring 2017 registration. Register online at www.hancockcollege.edu, and use Course Record Number (CRN) 30056.
