Celebrate Harvest at Pork and Pinot

Join Fess Parker Winery & Vineyard and local celebrity chef, Chef Pink, for Pork and Pinot, a special dinner in celebration of the harvest 2016 at Fess Parker Winery at 6:30 p.m. on October 22. The intimate, family-style meal will include organic, pasture raised pork prepared by Chef Pink, paired with Fess Parker pinot noir and served on the winery’s private terrace surrounded by organic gardens.

Chef Pink is a Santa Ynez Valley local with a national following thanks to appearances on Food Network’s “Cutthroat Kitchen” and Spike TV’s “Bar Rescue.” She most recently opened famed locavore restaurant Bacon & Brine in Solvang specializing in farm to table recipes that include pork and fermented foods, prepared in-house by Pink’s partner, Courtney Rae.

Fess Parker Winery was founded in 1987 by Actor Fess Parker (1924-2010), who was considered by many to be an American icon. His portrayal of frontiersmen Davy Crockett and Daniel Boone impacted millions of young viewers in the late 1950’s and 60’s. Today, the winery is family-owned and operated by the next generation of the Fess Parker family.
