The City of Solvang is hosting a public workshop about water and sewer funds and is asking residents and business owners to attend at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, January 23 in Council Chambers.
The purpose of this meeting is to conduct an informational workshop to:
- Examine the Water and Sewer funds, including the impacts of the drought on revenues and funding necessary to meet operating expenses, and future cost of service expenses;
- Review a Water Rate Analysis developed by Bartle Wells Associates;
- Analyze the City’s current rate structure and proposed adjustments;
- Assess customer bill impacts; and
- Seek public input.
